Coach Flowers is a passionate advocate for inclusive and effective education. With a steadfast belief that every student can thrive given the right environment, Coach Flowers has dedicated herself to fostering positive learning atmospheres that promote exploration and bolster student confidence. In February 2012 she opened Best Friends for Kidz Learning Laboratory and has since meticulously grown her preschool from inception to hosting over 120 enrolled children. She manages all aspects of the program with adeptness, from payroll to curriculum design, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Alongside her entrepreneurial endeavors, Coach Flowers has served as a Professional Development Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition since 2014, supporting candidates in attaining their Child Development Associate (CDA) through verification visits and mentorship programs. Prior to her entrepreneurial journey, she worked as an ESE Teacher and Case Manager for the Hillsborough County School District from 2007 to 2013, demonstrating her commitment to fostering inclusive education for students with diverse abilities. Coach Flowers' unwavering dedication to creating engaging and relatable learning experiences spans from preschool to college, reflecting her belief that inspiration should be infused at every level of education.
Coach Abi
Coach Abi is an early childhood education advocate with over two decades of experience, dedicated to shaping the future of young learners. Since 2003, Coach Abi has been teaching Spanish, fostering language skills and cultural appreciation among her students. Committed to community service, she is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, engaging in initiatives that uplift communities. With a passion for professional development, Coach Abi has served as a bilingual Professional Development Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition for eight years. She has also facilitated Child Development Associate (CDA) classes nationwide, emphasizing the importance of equipping educators with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. Coach Abi holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) concentration which underscores her dedication to educational excellence and diversity. Collaborating on apprenticeship programs for Early Childhood Education Teachers, registered by the Department of Labor, she is committed to advancing the field's professionalization.
