Will my portfolio be ready for my CDA observation?

If you participate and follow along in each class, your portfolio will be set up and ready for the observation.

How am I supported during the training?

You will be assigned an instructional coach that will check in with you periodically. Your coach will follow-up with you at the end of the course to share your next steps and review your portfolio to ensure its completion.

Does the CDA program qualify for the Teach Scholarship?

The National CDA program qualifies for the Teach Scholarship after the course is completed. It will not reimburse the cost of the course, however it does provide a stipend for completion, which is more than the cost of the National CDA course.

Do I need to have a diploma?

Participants must have a high school diploma or GED to be part of the National CDA program or to apply for the Teach Scholarship.

Is Train Your Brain accredited?

We are IACET accredited training company.

Is the apprenticeship program approved by the state?

The apprenticeship program is approved and certified by Department of Labor and The State of Florida.

Does Train Your Brain offer group classes?

We offer an on site CDA course that is geared towards childcare staff. We schedule these trainings around your needs. A minimum of 5 participants are required. Please contact the office for a group planning form.

Do you offer classes in any other languages?

We offer classes in English and Spanish.
